Joyce is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Joyce Carelock Ministries a
501(c)(3), registered faith-based non-profit organization; and Program
Director for Joyce Carelock
Ministries H.E.L.P. Center, in Manassas, VA., She is a visionary
with passion to help hurting people globally. She is the wife of Elder George
W. Carelock, Jr., pastor of Grace and Mercy Church of God In Christ, Chantilly, VA. She serves
along side her husband as the First Lady of this growing ministry. She is the
mother of three miracle children: Minister Jamel and Brandon; and adopted
daughter Melia.
Joyce is a license
Evangelist Missionary with the Church
of God in
Christ, Inc., and has served in ministry for over 22 years. Her unique
presentation and enthusiasm of the gospel has enabled her to minister to
various denominations and organizations. She is privileged to serve at women’s
retreats, conferences, and women day programs, youth day services, and
revivals. Joyce is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
The author of four self-help books: Church
Hurts Can Make You Bitter or Better: You Choose; Church Hurts Workbook; On My
Way Down I Looked Up & Grace Found Me In Lodebar; and Youth Halted between
Bad Choices & God's Purpose.
Joyce is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Organization
Development (MU) exp'd May '12; and Masters of Arts Professional Counseling,
(LU) exp'd Mar. '13. Her accomplishments are: Graduate Certificate in Christian
Studies (FTS) - Dec. 2010; Masters Science Administration Justice &
Security (UOP) - May 2009; Bachelor Science Business Management (UOP) - Oct.
2007; and Associate Arts Degree (UAA) - May 2005. In addition, she has received
numerous certificates for training and ministry work within Church
of God in
Christ.
She inspires hope to the
wounded, through biblical teachings, seminars, workshops and conferences. Her
purpose is to encourage people to walk in God’s purpose and plan for their individual
lives. Her goal is to equip people to be freed, empowered and effective vessels
of God’s love, mercy and grace.
